My friend Bob has asked me: why is this blog called changing the numbers?
The answer is because that is what accountants should really be doing as far as I am concerned- not just telling you what your numbers were last years and what tax you have to pay. Traditionally that is all that accountants have done.
At K&H we want to help change the numbers to make them better. So after we will tell you what your number are (ie do the accounts), we then help you evaluate them (eg find out if they are good enough) and, if the answer is no, find ways of helping you change them (eg with ideas to grow the business if you need to make more profit.)
Also, this isn't just about the financial numbers. There are also numbers like:
-how many hours you work a week
- how happy you and your team are at work on a 1 to 10 scale
- when you are going to be able to retire
that are more important in most cases.
Have a look at www.kandh.co.uk to find out more about how we help change the numbers.
